Student Services

Michael Clark
Director of Pupil Personnel

The most important factor toward academic growth is attendance. There is substantial research and statistics that clearly show the relationship of good attendance and student achievement. That is why students should make every possible effort to attend school promptly each day. If we think about the amount of instructional time a student has during a calendar year, it is really quite minimal compared to the amount of time outside of school. It is imperative that we are utilizing that instructional time efficiently and that requires the best attendance possible. I know we all share the same vision for our students and that is quality education and improving student achievement... Most of our students do very well with attendance and we appreciate your continued support of our efforts.
