Congratulations To Our New SBDM Council Members for the 2012-2013 school year!
We look forward to a great year working to make our school even better!
It’s Time To Elect Our 2012-13 Parent MembersIn Kentucky, each school has a council composed of the principal, elected teachers, and elected parents who make many of the most important decisions about how their school will work. The council is a wonderful chance to learn about our school, work closely with teachers, and help make our school even more successful than it is now. The parent members of the council are elected by the parents, receive training, and serve one-year terms. It’s now time to choose our parent members for 2012-13. Nominations are due to Sylvia Russell in the school office no later than 3:30 p.m. on April 30, 2012. Please pick up a nomination form if you are interested in being a candidate, or encourage a friend to run! Voting will be held May 3, 2012, from 7:45 AM to 3:30 p.m. in the school lobby. Please plan to participate. Results will be announced (and a runoff held if necessary) on May 3, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. in the school office. Please plan to be present for this important event. If you’d like more information, please call Sylvia Russell at 633-1478.
