PLEASE NOTE: East’s regularly scheduled SBDM meeting for May 14th has been changed to May 13th at 5:00 p.m. Hello Parents! As most of you are firmly aware, it is that time of year again for our state testing to be conducted. All EMS students will be participating the week of May 6th through May 10th. Students will be tested in the areas of mathematics, reading, language mechanics, science, and writing depending on their grade level. Needless to say, it is absolutely imperative that your student be here and on time during these crucial days of the educational process. We implore you to schedule doctor’s appointments and other absences in the late afternoon if possible or on a date where there are no sessions of the test being administered. Best practice tells us it is good for students to get a good night's sleep each night before a session of testing. Equally important is for students to have a good breakfast before beginning any test. |
