KET EncycloMedia offers teachers and students more than 5,000 videos, 50,000 video clips, and thousands of digital images, all searchable by keyword, content area, grade level, and Kentucky academic standards.

Study Blue is a website that allows you or students to create digital flashcards for help memorizing facts. There is a mobile APP that can be downloaded to portable devices.
Tagxedo is a website that creates word clouds in specific shapes. The shapes can be selected from the website or custom shapes can be uploaded to the site.
Comic Master is a website that allows you and your students to create basic graphic novels using characters, text, and a limited number of special fieatures.
Edmodo is a website that serves a a social networking site for school. Teachers can upload assignments, students can upload work, collaborate with classmates and access a calendar full of assignments, tests, and upcoming class information.
Glogster allows students to create on-line "posters". Students can post text, video, clip art and pictures to a screen that acts as a poster. Student work can be saved and viewed on line.
TED provides, "riveting talks by remarkable people". Visit this site to find videos, speeches, and, "ideas worth spreading". Information is searchable by topic.
Skype this free software download will allow you to connect with authors, guest speakers, students and friends via web cam. Your document camera can double as a web camera, or you can check out a camera from the library.
Storybird allows you and your students to use art to create digital stories. Art is provided by the site from various artists in many different styles. Students can then add text to create visual images for many different projects.
Essay Map gives students an interactive, on line way to organize and plan an essay. It gives space for an introduction, three main ideas, supporting details, and a conclusion. Students can then print their maps and use them to construct a well organized paper.
