Pizza Fundraiser
This spring’s fundraiser will be our “March Madness” program with “Little Caesars Pizza”! All proceeds will go toward purchasing books for our library. Your student will receive a fundraiser order form and information. All orders are due on February 20th. Pizza kits will be ready for pick up on Friday, March 14th after school until 5:00pm. Order some yummy pizza kits and PIZZA ON!
Valentines for Troops
STLP will be hosting a Valentines & Toiletries for Troops drive January 28-February 5. We are asking every student to make a Valentine or write a letter of encouragement to KY soldiers that are currently deployed. We will also collect toiletries and non-perishable snacks that will be sent along. A list of needed items will be posted outside of the Computer Lab. Thanks in advance for your support!

Poster Contest 2013 KYEM Earthquake Poster Contest As part of the Earthquake Awareness & “ShakeOut” Teacher’s Toolkit, Kentucky Emergency Management (KYEM) would like to challenge all 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade students to a statewide poster contest promoting earthquake awareness. Full details included in Earthquake Awareness & “ShakeOut” Teacher’s Toolkit http://kyem.ky.gov/programs/Pages/Teachers.aspx Win an eReader!!! The winner of the contest will receive an e-Reader and have a digital photograph of their poster displayed on KYEM’s website. Winning posters, like 2012 3rd grade winner Rebekah Waddle, will be used to promote Earthquake Awareness 2014. If your 3rd, 4th or 5th grader would like to enter this contest, please have poster entries to Mrs. Hunter by March 25th.
