STLP

The Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) is a project-based learning program that empowers students in all grade levels to use technology in and out of the classroom. Student-designed projects fall into four categories – instructional, community, technical, and entrepreneurial – and are created to help the school and community while also meeting the 6 STLP goals. Currently, Wright has more than 25 students involved in STLP.

Academic Team

Academic Team is a group of students who compete in written assessment, quick recall, and future problem solvers.  The team practices from 2:30-4:00 on Wednesday afternoons.  Mr. Billy Betts and Mrs. Kim Lewis are the coaches.  Last year (2007-2008) Wright’s Academic Team won the district championship and placed fourth in the regional competition.  Academic Team is offered to all 4th and 5th grade students.
