Students will stay after school in the art room to carve a sand block for a hot metal pour.  Students will pay a $25 donation to benefit the free sculpture park in return for their metal sculpture.  Students are invited to attend the event where thay can watch the metal pouring and participate in other activities the weekend of 9/1 at he park in Frankfort or their artwork will be returned to the school upon its completion.  The park has also offered to send us a video of the pouring to share with students who may not be able to attend the festival
