 Students in Shelby County Public Schools participate in testing at various points throughout the school year.  Shelby County's assessment program includes both norm-referenced tests as well as criterion referenced tests to provide an accurate representation of the performance of our students. 

On this page you will find both an overview of State and District Assessments for the 2021-2022 school year and the District Assessment Calendar.    The District Assessment Calendar provides "windows" of time when a student may take a specific assessment.  Each school and/or classroom establishes when assessments will occur  within the "window" that best meets the needs of their students.
