Director of Exceptional Child Services
Exceptional Child Education
Welcome to the Exceptional Child Services home page. Our mission is to improve outcomes for children with disabilities by ensuring equal access to education and assisting teachers with unlocking learning one child at a time via various strategies. We know that exceptional children can learn but may learn differently and we work collaboratively to determine the best strategies for each individual child. Our most important role is to advocate for our students by having high expectations for their academic learning as well as communication, social/emotional, behavioral and vocational functioning!
This site is designed to assist parents, prospective parents, teachers, other educators, and students. We hope that you find resources that meet your needs. If you have other items you would like to see on our website, please contact Stephanie Barrows, Director of Exceptional Child Services, via email or call 502-633-2375.
