We had our first Tigerpalooza today! Students "chalked the walk" with uplifting messages to share with each other and our community. Each grade level had a service project to help them demonstrate selflessness for others. First grade worked on grocery bags with uplifiting messages for the community. Second grade worked on cards for the nursing home community. Third grade made placemats for Meals on Wheels and the nursing homes. Fourth grade made cards for our first responders and military service men and women. Fifth grade worked with our kindergarteners to stuff a tiger and write a letter for our 2023 incoming kindergarten students. What a great way to share our selflessness at Southside.
