Jennifer Cox Presents on National Panel
Ms. Jennifer Cox, Principal at East Middle School, is presenting her doctoral research with a panel of five other educators from across the country at the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate Annual Convening on October 14. This panel is organized by Dr. Ted Hamann from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Ms. Cox was nominated to be a part of this panel by her professors at The University of Louisville.
She will describe her studies, discuss the rigor and relevance of a dissertation in practice (an EdD), and why her studies make sense to education research. Ms. Cox’s topic is Cognitive Coaching as Mindful School Leader Practice and she is reviewing impact on leadership self-efficacy and mindfulness before, during, and after principals work with instructional coaches on leadership goals.
