Journee Thompson is a 7th grader at West Middle school and a part of the Metro United Way INSPIRE Scholars program. The scholars share their future goals and career aspirations and suggest "adventures" they'd like to have through the grant program. Journee wants to pursue art in multiple mediums. The Scholars recently had an INSPIRE Art Adventure at MCM on Saturday 12/4. More importantly, Journee entered her artwork into a competition at the Dogwood Art Gallery at 800 Main Street #14 in Shelbyville.
