Hometown Showdown to be Played in Exciting Venue

(Shelbyville, Kentucky) Shelby County Public School’s Hometown Showdown between Shelby County High School and Collins High School to be held at Kentucky State University

 

Shelby County High School and Collins High School football players are preparing for an exciting experience. The 2022 Hometown Showdown will be held at the Kentucky State University Alumni Stadium. 

 

“With Robert Doyle Stadium behind schedule for completion, our football teams have an amazing opportunity to play in a college stadium,” said Powell Miller, Activities Director for Shelby County Public Schools. 

 

The Hometown Showdown is Friday, August 19th, 2022. The gates will open at 6:30 pm and the game will begin at 7:30 pm.

All fans must have a ticket to enter the game. $6.00 flat fee.

 

SCPS Employee badges will be accepted ONLY and this is a PLUS 1 ONLY. Badge MUST BE shown to gain entry. 

 

At this time, no other passes will be accepted. 

 

Kids 10 and under FREE.

 

Bringing food and beverage into the stadium is allowed. There will be no concessions sold. Please remember that this is a KHSAA-sanctioned event so alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
