Special Election for SBDM minority parent representative

In accordance with Kentucky Department of Education requirements, Principal Whisman has announced a Special Election for a minority parent representative to serve on the Shelby County High School Site Based Decision Making Council for the remainder of the 2022-23 school year.  Nominations are now being accepted for this upcoming special election.  

 

Please consider nominating yourself or someone you know who is dedicated to student achievement.  Nomination forms are available at Shelby County High School. The deadline for submitting a nomination is Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 3:00pm.

 

The special election will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 8:00am until 3:00pm at Shelby County High School.

 

All minority parents of SCHS students who will be in the 9th through 12th grade during the 2022-23 school year are eligible for nomination.

 

All parents of SCHS students in the 9th through 12th grade are encouraged to participate in the voting.
