Greetings Team PSE Families,
Happy New Year! I hope and trust that you all had a restful and wonderful holiday break with your families. Hopefully, you spent a lot of time balancing the stress of the holiday season by practicing Habit 7, Sharpening the Saw a little bit. I can't wait to see everybody back on Wednesday.
Wow!! It's hard to believe that we have already completed one semester (the time flew by). It was a great one, full hard work, and growing together as a team. With a new year brings renewed focus on student achievement, social and emotional development of our students. January will be a busy month full of learning and leading. Several classes will jump into Project Based Learning and Design Thinking Challenge opportunities. One grade level is collaborating Horizons Job Corp to build mini libraries to get books into a certain area of our population. Another grade level will be collaborating with a representative from HGC Construction (they do all the Cincinnati Zoo’s exhibits) habitat for animals they research. Others will be bringing out the sewing machines, sound mixers, cameras, and learning alongside a baker/chef to tap into their passions. Lastly, we will certainly continue or quest to build strong character through our school “TEAMS” and character coins.
I am so excited to start the New Year off with a bang!! If you or your business would like to volunteer or help out in any way…please do not hesitate to let us know, or better yet just stop on by. We welcome your help with open arms.
