This recognition goes to students who step up as role models, show responsibility, and use their influence in a positive way. This week’s award goes to Thomas, a 6th grader. His teacher shared that he is a true example to his classmates at MCM. He comes to class prepared and ready to learn. He volunteers to help and wants to include others. The class benefits from his positive attitude and willingness to take initiative. Way to go, Thomas! Thank you for being a leader in our classroom community. Congrats to our Girls Basketball program for such a great season! Our 8th grades went undefeated and won the conference Championship. Our 7th grades also went undefeated and one the conference Championship. Our 6th graders only lost to one team all year and it was the same team in the tournament. They were Runners Up in the Championship game. We are so proud of your hard work! #SpartanNation #weareshelbyiinspired
