Today, we’re thrilled to honor a student with the Middle School LEAD Award! This recognition goes to students who step up as role models, show responsibility, and use their influence in a positive way. This week’s award goes to Zoey, an 8th grader. Her teacher said that she has demonstrated the utmost patience when working with partners in class. She is a leader in responsible collaboration. I appreciate her hard work every single time she enters the classroom! Way to go, Zoey! Thank you for being a leader in our classroom community. ✨ We’re excited to celebrate one of our students with the Elementary ENGAGE Award! This award recognizes students who put their best effort into learning, stay actively involved in class, and inspire others through their example.  Today’s recipient is Wyatt, a 5th grade at MCMS! His teacher shared that he is extremely goal oriented. His dedication and work ethic make him a role model to his peers. We are so proud of Wyatt for showing such strong commitment to learning. Today, we are shining a light on our 8th grade ELA teacher, Mrs. Allen. She has been teaching for 17 years! In her free time Mrs. Allen loves to read and hang out with friends and family! Two Fridays each month we have Quest at MCMS. Quest is our name for Clubs and the purpose is to bring students together to enjoy new activities and connect with friends. Last week’s Quest featured "Arts and Crafts", and everyone had a great time. #weareshelbyinspired #SpartanNation
