Our Kindergarten and first grade students were excited to meet local author, Mary Shaftner, as she shared her book, The Hedge Apple Hunt! Students learned the different ways animals and people use hedge apples, how authors get inspiration for books, the process to publish a book, and more!
Our 5th grade had a wonderful field trip to Fort Harrod! Students learned about Colonial life, such as basket weaving, doll making, blacksmithing, and more as they visited the different parts of the fort.

Salvation Army Angel Tree Application Info: Families with children 13 years old and younger who need assistance with holiday gifts should see the attached flyer (in English and Spanish). The flyer has information about the Angel Tree program guidelines and the application dates. Please remember, the Salvation Army will NOT accept Angel Tree applications after October 29th.
