Jackson Rice and Tristan Kriel have a unique perspective when they arrive at the SCPS Bus Garage every day: they are both recent alumni of the Diesel Career Pathway! Graduates of SCHS in 2022, they spent their high school years learning the foundational skills of diesel machinery at the Shelby County Area Technology Center. Today, they get to work with our Transportation Department, often getting to service the buses they rode themselves just a few years ago!
