UPDATE: As we continue to work with local law enforcement, we want to provide consistent updates for families. We still believe there is no immediate threat to our students' safety.

Out of an abundance of caution, Shelby County High School will remain on Lockdown, Rocket Lane schools will remain on Soft Lockdown, and all other SCPS schools will remain on High Alert.

This message is for families planning to use bus transportation for the upcoming school year. If your student will not be riding the bus, you may disregard this message.

SCPS Transportation sent a new round of Stopfinder invites today to families who have completed their Online Registration (OLR). Please check your primary email address (including Junk/Spam folders) for the invite. This app is where Transportation will post bus routes and updates.

• If you used the Stopfinder app last year, you do not need a new invite. Just log back into your existing account after completing your OLR. If you forgot your password, click "Forgot Password" and follow the prompts.

• If you have not yet completed your Online Registration, you can do so here: bit.ly/SCPS-OLR

• Additional rounds of Stopfinder invites will continue to go out between now and the first day of school on August 6th, so don’t worry if you haven’t received yours just yet.

If you have any questions or did not receive an invite and believe you should have, please contact Transportation at (502)633-4671.

Dear Families, Thanks to an investment by our Board of Education, Shelby County Public Schools (SCPS) students will be admitted to SCPS athletic events this school year at no cost. This includes middle school and high school athletics. Admission will be free for Shelby County Public School students for regular-season athletic events. We hope that this will give more opportunities for students to attend games and show their school spirit! There will be a few exceptions to this new standard: fundraisers, preseason events, regular season tournaments, and postseason events. Our schools will communicate with their school community in advance of any activities that will require charging students. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s school.

Ginger, our Assistant Transportation Coordinator, has served our district for over 20 years. Her dedication to our students defines what SCPS is all about. We simply wouldn’t be the same without her — thank you, Ginger!
